About Smallholding Sitting Service

Firstly, thank you for visiting the site.
The Smallholding Sitting Service was setup by Pippa (me) with the help of a few friends.
We are a sitting service, for smallholders and farmers.
We can look after any animal or plant no job too big or small. We will also stay in your home keeping it clean and tidy for when you get back.
We are available for weekends and weekdays. Our location is in Ceredigion, West-Wales, and we will travel upto an hour away. If you are further away and going away for a week or more please get in contact and we may still be able to help.

Below is a profile of me, so you can get a feel of who i am:

Hi, my name is Pippa. I gained the majority of my experience from volunteering part time for 2 years on a National trust estate called Llanerchaeron.
I have experience with most of the traditional breeds of pigs, along with the modern breeds of Welsh and Landrace pigs, Welsh Black cattle, and Dexters. I have worked with Llanwenog, Shetland, Welsh Mountain and a few crosses of sheep.
Smallholding Sitting Service has now been up and running for three years. Back in July 2008 I graduated with a HND in agriculture from Aberystwyth University.
I also have a husband, a toddler, 4 hens, 2 does (rabbits) and a goldfish.
