What we can do

Smallholding Sitting Service is run by Pippa. She is based in Ceredigion, but can travel anywhere in the UK.
She has passed her short journey animal transport test for cattle and sheep, which means she can transport them or sit in with someone over 60Km, but under 8 hours.

What we can do:
Lambing
Milking by machine
Hand milking
Tell when the sow/cow/ewe is about to farrow/calve/lamb.
Move pigs/cattle without to much unnecessary stress.
Pick up piglets in the correct way, without causing too much stress to mum (only done for iron injections, or to check nothing is broken)
Inject pigs/cattle
Mucking out
Feeding
and more.

Pippa also has a small team of local contractors who she can bring in for specfic jobs, such as someone who has more experience with horses and ponies, small animals or someone to advise you on your land.
